Extensions FAQ's

What Are Eyelash Extensions?

Eyelash Extensions are a popular new service and product that lengthens and thickens your own natural eyelashes. They are single strands of synthetic eyelashes that are curved to replicate a natural eyelash. They are applied to each individual natural eyelash one by one for a natural, beautiful and luscious look. Eyelash extensions are perfect for special occasions or for day to day wear in order to save all the time of curling and mascara.

What do Eyelash Extensions look like when applied?

With proper application, meaning one synthetic eyelash applied to one natural lash, the look and feel is completely natural looking and real. They will just think you were born with beautiful, long lashes.

How long will a set of Eyelash Extensions Last?

When applied properly, eyelash extensions will last the length of the natural growth cycle of your eyelashes. Everyone’s experience will differ based on day to day activities but over all touchups should only be required every 2 to 4 weeks. A special waterproof bonding agent is used.

Will extensions damage my eyelashes?

Yes and no. Yes, your lashes can be damaged if you go to someone who was not properly trained and uses products not intended for long wear. No, extensions properly applied by a licensed trained technician does not. Our eyelash extension application techniques and innovative aftercare ensures your lash health.

Can I use eyelash growth products with my extensions?

Lash growth products that contain steroids change the composition of your lashes and accelerate your eyelash shedding cycle, therefore we cannot guarantee the outcome. Natural lash growth products containing peptides are wonderful and will have no adverse effect on the longevity of your extensions.

Will I still need to use mascara?

No, you will not need to use mascara with your lash extensions, but for nights that you want extra drama you can use a water-based mascara and apply it from the middle to the top and not the base. Be sure to properly cleanse your lashes afterwards!
